ALBANY, N.Y., October 15, 2013 — Albany Medical Center today announced that EmUrgentCare, an urgent care provider with facilities in Greene and Ulster Counties, will join the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group to provide urgent care and occupational medicine services in partnership with Albany Med’s team of expert physician specialists.

EmUrgentCare, which will continue to operate under the EmUrgentCare name, treated more than 28,000 patients in 2012 and has 65,000 active patient records.  It is open every day of the year to treat illnesses and injuries including cuts and lacerations, sprains, bone fractures, colds /flu, asthma, and ear and throat infections.  Most insurance plans are accepted and no appointment is needed.
